Found at market in France this fall, this charming and cheerful mid-century Vintage A La Bonne Ménagère Pitcher was produced for use in French Tunisia in the decades just prior to the country's independence in 1956. With a lively silhouette and colorful blue lettering for A La Bonne Mánagère, this stylish pitcher advertises an eclectic range of the shop's offerings - Alimentation (Food), Chausseurs (Shoes) and Jouets (Toys). 

Nicknamed Le Petit Paris and developed as Ferryville in 1897 by the French as a naval arsenal within Tunisia, this geographical hub was well-visited by travelers and expats of French origin and was considered among the most beautiful cities in North Africa.
