Of course we all are familiar with the basics: knives, spoons & forks. But what about all those other serving pieces that the Victorians were so fond of? The proper Victorian had a specialized utensil for every conceivable food so they would never have to touch anything with their hands - and that led to one utensil more obscure and beautiful than the next!
Found at antique markets across England, we are thrilled to present this collection of elegantly refined small serving spoons that we lovingly refer to as Victorian "Pretty Bits"! With lustrous pearl handles and gleaming silverplate that is adorned with delicate engravings, these spoons are sure to be cherished additions to your collection.
Whether on the breakfast table with an assortment of delicious jams or on a fabulous holiday charcuterie board for chutneys and confits or on your bar cart for straining olives or cherries...no matter how you use them - the important thing is to use them! They are happy to be called back into service!
