Found at an antique market outside of Paris, we are enchanted by the rustic simplicity of  these delightful Vintage French Wired Baskets. Artfully designed with sweet details, each of these adorable baskets is at once practical and stylish. Originally used for gathering morning eggs from backyard hens, the charming holders are each fitted with a set of shapely carry handles to transport the precious oeufs (eggs) safely to the kitchen. 

Created from fine and medium gauge wire in a clever configuration that collapses flat when not in use, two of the baskets also have the capacity to transform into smart countertop containers by opening the handles wide and shifting from top to bottom. Still perfect for gathering eggs as well as holding kitchen sundries, these cheerful baskets are sure to make mornings merry with their sunny demeanor and French country charm.
