An absolute delight found at market in Paris: this most charming Antique "Bonsoir & Bonne Nuit" Teapot sitting confidently on its warming stand.
Lovingly made of white porcelain in a calming blue-gray cast, the entire piece is skillfully hand-painted in Belle Époque style with swags of delicate floral garlands in shades of pink, violet, blue and green. The pour spout of the teapot is in the form of a mythical dragon head and is embellished with hand-applied brushstrokes in a warming shade of burnt sienna. Likewise, the teapot's handle and rims of both the pot and stand are trimmed with the same warm hue.
Adding a glimmer in even the softest of light, the tea pot is hand-lettered in gleaming gold with the word "Bonsoir" (Good Evening) and the warming stand with the words "Bonne Nuit" (Good Night). The warming stand is complete with its petite porcelain spirit burner, but will just as easily hold a tea light candle to keep the tea warm.
