Vintage Silverplate Cocktail Shaker
Vintage Silverplate Cocktail Shaker
$195.00
Mr. Cole Porter was known to have brought his own equipment along when he went on out-of-town tryouts. Not an altogether bad idea, in our opinion. Recently discovered at market in England, we present this shapely Vintage Silverplate Cocktail Shaker with its handsome rope motif - for the world's most urbane form of upper-body exercise.
This gleaming cocktail mixer recently found at market in the north of England traces its origin to the exciting early 1960s design era. Produced by one of Birmingham's oldest silversmiths, Barker Ellis, with a history dating back to its founding as Barker Brothers in 1801, this elegant three-piece, cobbler-style shaker features an integrated strainer and sprightly cap that doubles as a stylish jigger.
Ready for service upon arrival, with its statuesque silhouette and refined demeanor we can hardly imagine any unreconcilable conflict between the English gin and the French vermouth!
Strictly one-of-a-kind and subject to prior sale. In good vintage condition. 9.5"H x 3" in diameter.
