Found at market in the north of England, we are pleased to present these fascinating collections of petite trophies. Given as lasting prizes for sporting contests, the trophies are gleaming, storied treasures that speak to the camaraderie of sport.

Made by Mappin & Webb, each of these sets of five trophies were sourced from a person's lifetime collection of school and amateur sporting contests, primarily in track and field in the late 1920s but including some later trophies as well. With a legacy of producing some of the world’s most distinguished sporting prizes—including the original Ryder Cup of 1926, the Football League Cup of 1961, and commissions for Royal Ascot—Mappin & Webb brought a pedigree of excellence to even the humblest of accolades.
