Vintage Möet & Chandon Tray

Recently acquired at market in Paris, this diminutive Vintage Möet & Chandon is a quaint vestige of a gentler time when no attention to detail was spared in creating the most utilitarian of products. Bearing no resemblance to the molded plastic check and change presentation trays to which we are so often subjected today, this lovely brass dish is a handsome accessory, whether serving as a tasteful vide poche, trinket dish, handy desk catch-all or spent cork repository. 

Produced by the legendary champagne house founded in 1743, Möet & Chandon, this attractive tray was produced by the brand as a promotional item for use in cafés and bistros. Surrounded by a border garland of grape bunches and scrolling vine, the center of this antique brass tray is accented by a detailed and darling embossed Moet & Chandon Champagne cork. Promising to bring a touch of extra dazzle and panache to any setting, it carries with it the sparkling, bubbly, effervescent spirit of French café life. Tchin-tchin!
