Found at market in the north of England, we are so pleased to offer this lovely set of six sterling silver teaspoons made by Sheffield’s renowned John Round & Son in one of the final years of Queen Victoria's reign, presented in a handsome presentation box lined in cream silk and black velvet.

Founded in 1847 by silversmith John Round in Sheffield, England, John Round & Son began as a small workshop on Tudor Street and grew into a respected name in British silver. The company became known for producing both sterling silver and electroplated wares, absorbing the established firm Ridge, Allcard & Co. in 1886, and remaining active into the early 20th century before being acquired in the 1930s by Joseph Rodgers & Sons—another distinguished Sheffield maker.

Originally purchased at Wm. Morrison’s in Falkirk, Scotland, these sleek sterling silver teaspoons were clearly a treasured possession and are certain to be a prized addition to your collection of serving pieces—or a thoroughly charming gift for the refined tea lover in your life.
