1955 Sterling Cruet Set
1955 Sterling Cruet Set
$395.00
This exquisite Antique Sterling Silver Cruet set comes to us from a silver market in northern England. Lovely in nature, we are thoroughly charmed by the perfect petite size of each piece: salt bowl, pepper, and mustard pot, with matching salt and mustard spoons. The salt bowl and mustard pots are complete with blue cobalt liners, protecting the sterling silver from corrosive effects.
Coming in a gorgeous tortoiseshell patterned presentation case lined in satin and velvet, this set hails originally from the retailers of Lloyd Payne & Amiel of Manchester, and was produced by the Birmingham silversmiths William Neale & Son Ltd., who were known in particular for their production of small to medium sized items crafted from sterling silver.
Elegant in nature and perfectly designed in form, this sparkling and classic cruet set is ready to make its home on your dining table for generations to come.
