Lovingly collected at market during our most recent trip to Paris, we are thrilled to present this charming Antique French Coin Purse.

This petite, hand-crafted coin purse is a first class ladies' accessory that hails from the time of opera-length gloves, and couture gowns designed by Charles Frederick Worth and Jacques Doucet. Its cover is meticulously overlaid with chased and engraved sterling silver details mimicking the hinges and clasp of a fine book binding. The original satin lining is the perfect place to organize and safely hold cash. Hinged at the bottom with a clasp that still snaps closed as authoritatively as when it was new, it features an ingenious interior safety pouch for holding gold coins or other particularly tiny precious items.
