Recently acquired from a lifelong silver collector, we are pleased to present this exquisite Antique Sterling & Glass Vanity Bottle. Seamlessly clad with intricately applied sterling silver in a sweeping, romantic Art Nouveau-inspired motif that romantically clings to every curve, delicate iris flowers can be seen emerging from the gleaming silver.

Produced by the highly collectible Alvin Silver Co., regarded as one of the finest early-American producers of silver, the petite bottle sparkles brightly with a brilliance that gleams from every angle. Founded by William Jamoneau in 1886, Alvin Silver Co. was internationally celebrated for fine overlay silverwork crafted on to crystal and glass. Patenting a process to deposit pure 999/1000 silver on non-metallic surfaces, their signature style, known as deposit ware, remained in high demand until the company's acquisition by Gorham in 1928.

Serving as a majestic finial to this spectacular bottle, a spectacular stopper floats within the vessel's sterling silver rimmed collar. Stamped with Alvin Silver Co. marks as well as 999/1000, indicating 'pure' silver, this extraordinary bottle's refined elegance promises to remain fresh yet timeless.
