Like Goldilocks searching for the perfect bed and bowl of porridge, we're always on the hunt for the absolutely perfect piece of restaurant china, and after years of searching, we've finally found a new design of our restaurant china that meets our (exacting!) standards. Still as classic, solid, and durable as our basic restaurant china - made of durable stoneware with thick rolled edges to deflect chips and a stain-repelling clear glaze - these pieces are enlivened by an elegant black banded scalloped edge.

Restaurant China is a unique blending of fine china and porcelain, designed and engineered specifically for use in commercial operations. It was developed to give great impact strength and durability with the extremely low porosity or absorption that is required for china used in public dining establishments.

With a pleasing heft and elegant lines, these scalloped beauties can stand up to the toughest of crowds and most exacting of guests, dishing up their charms on your table for countless meals and gatherings to come. Simply put, they're still some of the best stuff out there - with a new edge.

The glaze that is fired on each piece is clear, so the overall color of the china varies depending on the clay used in the manufacture. The overall off-white color of the piece can vary slightly from a creamy off-white to an off-white with more of a gray hue.
