Blown into a conical rhyton silhouette from gleaming pearlescent opaline glass and painted by hand, each gracefully curving horn-shaped vessel culminates in a dramatic, articulated hand resting upon a marble plinth.

Symbolizing strength, loyalty and fidelity, the hand carried meaningful design significance in the Victorian era when intricate symbolism ripe for interpretation was infused into decorative objects and tokens of affection at every turn.
