Vintage Pressed Glass Coupes - Set of 10
SOLD
A dazzling delight in shimmering glass, this beautiful set of Vintage Pressed Glass Coupes from one of America’s most esteemed glassmakers, Pennsylvania’s McKee Glass Company, will be a lovely addition to any glassware collection.
In McKee’s iconic "Rock Crystal" pattern, these coupes feature a versatile shape and size perfectly suited for champagne, desserts, or cocktails. Introduced in 1904 as part of the Prescut line, the pattern showcases intricate intaglio floral and scroll designs that beautifully mimic hand-cut glass. Footed glasses such as these were primarily produced between 1915 and the early 1940s.
McKee, founded by five McKee brothers, was established in 1834 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1888, the factory moved to Jeannette, Pennsylvania, where it combined its operations with the National Glass Company. In 1903, the company reorganized and became the McKee Glass Company. McKee produced large quantities of glassware, including pressed patterns, opaque glassware, and white milk glass.
Sure to elevate even the humblest libation or dessert, this gorgeous set of sparkling glasses is ready to entertain for years to come.
Strictly one-of-a-kind and subject to prior sale. In very good vintage condition. Handwashing recommended. Each glass measures 4"D x 4.75"H.
