Antique French Floral Pitcher

Recently uncovered at market outside Paris, this darling Antique Floral Pitcher brings to mind the sweet romance of the French countryside. With playfully dimensional ribs swirling around the perimeter, this lovely stoneware jug was artfully executed by hand. Its delicate tankard style is crowned by a hinged pewter lid that rests handily above a soft geometric transferware border floating around the upper rim. 

Adorned with a veritable kingdom of flora and fauna against the creamy background, we can almost hear the chirping of the birds and the buzzing of the bees and dragonflies as they alight upon the pitcher's richly colorful blossoms. We are confident this precious vessel will bring its charming vernal mystique to any setting, infusing your home with the eternal essence of spring.
