The coffee service was produced by England's Burgess & Leigh Ltd. in their Imari-inspired Gordon pattern, and features six petite cups and saucers, and dates to the 1940s or 1950s. The silverplate stand with refined oak base was made by Cole Brothers of London, active from 1915-1938 in London's Covent Garden, and has been paired with a set of six matching sterling silver spoons by Sheffield's Francis Howard Ltd. in 1964.
