Produced by the venerable Burleigh potters in Staffordshire, the set is in their beloved blue and white calico pattern. The Burleigh potters have been producing beautiful, hand-finished pieces using the area's fine earthenware clay at the renowned Middleport pottery since 1889 and their calico pattern is based on a 19th century fabric design. Using the inkiest indigo hues to create this striking decoration, the overall floral pattern instantly adds English country charm to any setting. 

This delightful service is complete with its serving pot and 6 cups and saucers perfectly sized for enjoying a rich cup of hot chocolate. Also ideal for coffee, this one-of-a-kind, charming set will be a delightful addition to any kitchen!

Strictly one-of-a-kind and subject to prior sale. In very good vintage condition. Pot measures 7.5"H x 8.75" from handle to spout. Cups are 2.25"H x 3.75". Saucers are 5" in diameter.
