Rushing to shelve the latest returns before closing time, Librarian Lydia scurries among the stacks with her final load. Always careful to seal every last access route from the paws of prying felines before heading out for the night, lively Lydia is proud to have recently assumed leadership of the library.

Following completion of her Mousters of Library Science degree, Lydia has been putting in extra hours refining next year's budget for approval by the Council of Elder Dormice. Responsible for procuring books and materials needed for the upcoming year, the council is showing resistance to adding proposed community DIY programs from Lydia like Macrame Nest Building and Chopstick Raft Construction that require specialty supplies. Crucial to improving survival outcomes for mice mischiefs that find themselves inadvertently relocated to coastal areas, energetic Lydia is determined to persevere!
