Acquired at market outside of London, this incredible set is an elegant addition for presenting your prized liquors, with the antique silverplate stand featuring a dramatic central rod "stem" with stylish Art Nouveau finial handle rising from among the shimmering decanters. Beautifully crafted by leading silversmiths at Philip Ashberry & Sons of Sheffield, the firm founded in 1829, is notable for 70% of its mid 19th-century work force being women during a time when this was highly uncommon.

The exquisite crystal decanters are original to the set and are sure to impress with weighty stoppers and gorgeous cutwork that shines in the light. Fingertip shaped cuts arranged in a scattered pattern around the neck help to create subtle friction on the smooth glass, ensuring a more steady grip (especially after several drinks!).

The lovely frame with its delicate design appears to dance, suspended above the table surface on gracefully curving feet that point outward from the lacy silverwork of the base. A mix of geometric patterns alternates around the perimeter with prominent central medallions that remain unengraved, waiting to be labeled with your monogram or preferred spirits.
