Antique Cut Crystal and Silverplate Condiment Stand
Antique Cut Crystal and Silverplate Condiment Stand
$350.00
This gleaming antique condiment stand beautifully reflects the refined aesthetic of the Victorian era. Produced in Sheffield, England in the late 1800s by the long-shuttered William Padley & Son silversmiths, this antique silverplated caddy is a gorgeous example of the attention-to-detail and the exacting craftsmanship that was employed during that period.
Standing confidently on its four bun feet, the base has a clover leaf silhouette which neatly holds its quartet of cruets and casters in style. At center, a decorative stirrup serves as an elegant handle.
With a charmingly stout stature, the set includes two sparkling cut crystal cruets with their original stoppers, a caster with a shining silverplated top, as well as a pretty crystal pot intended for mustard (either dry or prepared) with a silverplated lid.
This lovely set is certain to be a shining addition to your silver collection.
Strictly one-of-a-kind and subject to prior sale. In very good antique condition with only minimal signs of age and use. Stand is 5.5"H x 5" x 5". Cruets measure 4"H x 2.25"D; Caster is 3.75"H x 2.25"D; Mustard is 3.5"H x 2.25"D.
