Designed to take centerstage on a lady's vanity or dressing table, the set features a large glass jewelry box, an adjustable center mirror and two lovely, hand-painted royal blue glass fragrance flacons. The stand is expertly crafted of gilt metal with lavish details throughout and the decorative flourishes of the Belle Époque era. If ever there was a French princess moment, this is it.

Keeping beauty essentials and finishing touches always close at hand, the classic French jewelry box is carefully crafted with thick, beveled glass forming the sides and lid. The box is framed in gilt metal with a padded and tufted interior of burgundy silk. The elegant jewelry box rests confidently on the scrolling, decorative base that supports the entire stand. Dramatic lion's heads adorn the front two feet, with flowing gilt ribbon and laurel garland dressing the opulent base, while decorative bead detailing visually connects each element of the stand. Rising above the box is an elegant, beveled glass oval mirror trimmed with a bead detail. Surrounding the mirror is a scalloped framework embellished with gilt leafy florals and a classical French cartouche at the top and bottom of the mirror.

On scrolling arms flanking the mirror are two supports that hold a pair of matching fragrance flacons. These exquisite bottles with their ground glass stoppers are hand-enameled with a charming floral decoration that adds a touch of whimsy to the brilliant blue mouth-blown glass.

In very good antique condition with general wear to the gilt finish of the stand and the gilt and enamel decorations on the bottles as is appropriate for the age of the piece.
