From Camphora to Tinctura Valerianae, the wonderfully evocative labels preserved on these examples offer a glimpse into that bygone world.

Beautifully utilitarian, the bottles' simple forms are elevated by their aged cream-and-gold labels, bold black lettering and, in some cases, beautifully fitted ground-glass stoppers. The variations in size, shape and patina give each its own distinctive character and make them particularly striking gathered together.
