Of course we all are familiar with the basics: knives, spoons & forks. But what about all those other serving pieces that the Victorians were so fond of? They were all part of an elaborate Victorian table setting, as formal, unique serving utensils for almost every kind of food—oysters, asparagus, bone marrow, crackers, fruit preserves, horseradish, olives—were part of a daily fine-dining experience.
Behold, the lovely Victorian Silverplate Jam Spoon. Gleaming silverplated spoons in lavish ornate patterns and with intricate delicate engravings, these pieces are sure to be magnificent additions to your collection. Designed to gracefully scoop jams or chunky fruit preserves from a jam pot, these spoons are splendidly, beautifully, wonderfully, obsessively Victorian!
