Found at a silver market in the north of England, we are so pleased to offer this sparkling Antique Silverplate and Cut Crystal Dish produced by the long-shuttered Silber & Fleming silversmiths of London.
With a captivating elliptical form, the original cut crystal dish sits securely within the lavishly pierced and engraved silverplated frame. The lid fits neatly on top of the crystal dish and is engraved with scrolling flourishes and topped with a striking winged griffin finial. The stand's handle is decoratively pierced with birds fluttering among leafy tendrils and arches over the crystal dish creating a dynamic silhouette. Standing confidently on its decorative feet, it carries with it the lush aesthetic of the Victorian era.

Strictly one-of-a-kind and subject to prior sale. Circa 1880. In very good antique condition with a small chip to the top rim of the crystal dish as shown in the alternate images. Due to the intricate cutwork of the dish, the chip is very discreet. 7.25"H x 8" x 5".
