Vintage "Suze" Ice Bucket

Vintage "Suze" Ice Bucket

Invented in Paris by distillery owner Fernand Moureaux in 1885, Suze Gentiane Liqueur has been a well-known aperitif in France for over a century. Harvested from the mountains of the Jura and Auvergne regions of France, this highly aromatic liqueur with bittersweet herbs, spices, vanilla and candied oranges is sought-after the world over to this day. Now under the ownership of the Pernod group, a Suze Gentiane Liqueur bottle had been depicted in Pablo Picasso's collage "Verre et bouteille de Suze".

Found at market in the Loire Valley of France, this charming Suze Gentiane Ice Bucket is as classic and special as the liqueur it is named after.

Strictly one-of-a-kind and subject to prior sale. In excellent vintage condition. 4 7/8" x 4 1/4".
