Antique English Leather Cigar Case
$275.00
Found at market on our recent trip to Paris, this incredible Antique English Leather Cigar Case has all the exclusive style and privileged panache of an English Gentleman's club in Edwardian London. With a gracefully curving silhouette in a most serviceable size for carrying cigars on-the-go, the sumptuous leather displays a distinguished and rich well-worn patina.
Carefully crafted in two pieces that fit snugly together to protect the case's precious cargo, the curvaceous upper edge of the case is accented with a small metal plaque matchstrike that also serves to provide reinforcement to the leather and maintain its lovely shape. Whispering of luxury while displaying fidelity to the crown, the exterior face of the handsome container has been imprinted with heraldic imagery along with the motto of the British monarch, "Dieu et mon droit" (God and my right) as well as the motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense" (Shame on anyone who thinks evil of it).
A personal and glamorous memento from a time when taking one's tobacco was a ritual and moment of quiet contemplation amidst the chaos of everyday life, this smart case is sure to elevate the everyday. Equally handsome displayed in a home bar, office or library, and versatile enough to serve as a card case as well as the purpose for which it was intended, this exceptional gentleman's accessory is a very special find. Bringing its warm glow and debonair demeanor from across the century, it is sure to add a genteel air to your home or personal style.
