The Iconic Les Deux Magots
On a gorgeously sunny day, there are definitely worse places to spend an hour or two then the bustling terrace at the iconic Les Deux Magots. Enjoy a coffee, a bite to eat or “un p’tit verre” and watch the world go by as you sit shaded under their dark green awnings.
Les Deux Magots may be considered not quite as chic as their neighbor Café de Flore, but it’s still so popular that during the summer months, the auxiliary tent of shaded outdoor seating in the lot directly alongside the café is also packed.
Founded in 1812, the café is managed today by the great-great granddaughter of Auguste Boulay who bought the business in 1914.
