Holiday Week Musings

So...if Wednesday was a “pretend Sunday”, then that would have made Tuesday Saturday...which means Monday was sort of like Friday...🤔
In a week that was divided squarely in two, we welcome (the “real”) Friday with a happy “How do you do?”👋💚

There is only one way our deeply divided nation will ever come together. It’s not fireworks. It’s not a parade. It’s not even grilled meats or corn on the cob.
It’s Happy Hour.
That’s it...our best and last hope is a well-stocked bar, plenty of ice, a selection of glassware (ideally gorgeous, vintage glassware from you know who!) and this fabulous book full of the classic, vintage cocktail recipes that this country was founded on!
